What's Up in Stallion Springs?

The Library is headed to their new location. When the new administrative offices were built in 2009 the old CSD building was opened as a large library, a POA room and a place for small meetings. It was also discovered that subterranean termites were active and the building was in need of structural repair.

The Board approved moving the library to the Bornt building on Pellisier Road. The community will continue to have a hard copy library of books, a place for fellowship with each other and a beautiful setting in which to read books and relax.

The books are packed and ready to go. The shelving has to be moved and the books placed in their new home. Head Liberian Emma Holm sends a thank you to the following people for helping pack up the books: Kerry Jensen, Pam and Don Stipech, Kelly Napier, Kathryn Sanders, Tina Landsberger, Roy Holm and all the people that donated their time. See you soon at the new location.

CSD Offices

The CSD offices will continue to be closed to the public. The staff will still be available Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:25 p.m. to take your phone calls or your emails. Call (661) 822-3268 for any assistance.

Due to the recommendations from Federal, State and local officials, the Stallion Springs Community Services District is canceling all nonessential activities until further notice due to COVID-19 concerns. All SSCSD owned properties will be closed.  Precautionary measures are essential in helping to prevent the spread of this illness. We apologize for any inconvenience, and appreciate your patience during this time. The Stallion Springs Community Center will be closed. The Stallion Springs Library will be closed and all park restrooms will be closed.

Stallion Springs Board of Directors

The Board meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. normally in the CSD Boardroom. This month's meeting on May 19 will be held in the CSD Board room or by Zoom due to the restrictions created by the Coronavirus.
