Biden/Harris Rally, Oct. 18

An enthusiastic crowd gathered on Sunday, October 18, to celebrate the Biden/Harris connection and the upcoming election. It's probably the most important and critical election of our lifetime. Several teens were on hand to rally with us, because, even though they are too young to vote this time around, they are well aware of the critical issues we face and know that this election will have a major impact on their lives.

About 200 participants turned out to show their love and support for our country, the Biden/Harris campaign and Kim Mangone for Congress. The rally began at noon and covered all four corners at Tucker Road and Valley Blvd. Rally participants were heartened by the multitude of cars and trucks driving by honking and giving us the thumbs up. It was reassuring to know there are many supporters in Tehachapi for the Blue ticket in this upcoming election. Rally goers waved the American flag, some Biden-Harris flags, as well as holding signs expressing their views that ranged from Christians for Biden to LGBTQ rights. It was encouraging to see people expressing their support for science and climate concerns, veterans' support, Black Lives Matter support and many other issues they are concerned about.

Voting is so important this election. Whether you decide to vote by mail or to show up at the polls on November 3, please do your part and vote for Biden/Harris, Kim Mangone for Congress and Julie Solis for the 34th Assembly District.

Your vote is critical! We need to take back our country and our county and make it safe for all.
