2021 Wall of Valor

The American Legion Auxiliary Tehachapi Unit 221 along with Legion Post 221, the American Legion Riders and the Sons of the Legion, will again be hosting the “Wall of Valor “ at the gazebo in Central Park on the 4th of July. The Loop newspaper and the Tehachapi News will be publishing the submission forms for the Wall of Valor. Due to COVID-19, 4th of July festivities were canceled in 2020. The photos that were submitted were shared as a video on the Post’s Facebook page and on YouTube.

The Wall of Valor consists of photos of local, currently active duty personnel and our Gold Star Heroes.

The Auxiliary will be collecting photos that will be included in the July 3 issue of The Loop newspaper and the June 30 issue of the Tehachapi News.

Photos and submission forms can be dropped off at The Loop newspaper, 206 S. Green Street, the Tehachapi News, 411 N. Mill Street or emailed to linda_ [email protected].

Photos must be 5” by 7” and are non-returnable. All submissions must be received by June 23 for inclusion in the June 30 issue of the Tehachapi News.

If you had someone on the Wall of Valor last year, we ask that you let us know if they are still on active duty and if there are any changes in rank or duty station.
