Betty J. DeLany May 7, 1937 – May 16, 2021

Betty J. DeLany died on May 16. She was 84 years old.

Betty was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on May 7, 1937 to Adolf and Frances Kovar. On May 31, 1955, Betty married David L. DeLany. The couple moved to Tehachapi in 1996.

She was a parishioner of St. Malachy Catholic Church where she was involved with Home Bound Ministries and other aspects of the church.

Betty's favorite things about life in Tehachapi were its mountains and small town living.

Betty was predeceased in death by her parents, Adolf and Frances, and her brother Lyle and sister Shirley. She is survived by her sons Mark and Kevin; grandson Branden; nephew Jim; and brother Leroy Kovar.

The Rosary and funeral were held on on June 8, 2021 at St. Malachy Catholic Church.
