Houchin Community Blood Bank returns to the City of Tehachapi on Tuesday Sept. 21, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Tehachapi-wide blood drive will be held at Tehachapi Valley Recreation & Parks District's West Park, 490 W. D Street.

Blood donations save lives, people need blood following severe accidents, surgery, cancer, and severe anemia. One unit of blood can help save up to three lives.
This blood drive event is a collaboration between Houchin Community Blood Bank, Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Park District and the City of Tehachapi.
