What's Up in Stallion Springs?

Third time's the charm. The Cleanup Day originally scheduled for February was canceled due to snow and moved to March 5. It was canceled again in March due to the treat of snow and rescheduled for April 9. Finally the stars were with us and April 9 was a winner.

There was a waiting line of cars for over a mile across the field behind the CSD and CERT building, down Churchill and Stallion Springs Drive by the time it opened at 9 a.m.

The maintenance crew from the CSD were kept busy unloading cars and trucks with a bucket lift all morning. Even the CSD General Manager, Vanessa Stevens got into the action acting as Traffic Control at the entry to the drop zone.
