Tehachapi's Online Community News & Entertainment Guide
Saturday, March 25 will be the third Energy Fair at Healthy Hippie Trading Co., located in Old Town, Tehachapi.
The fair is a wonderful opportunity to learn about energy healing and meet some incredible people without having to spend a lot of money. There will be four healers available to meet with privately at a discounted rate of $30 for a 30 minute session. Not sure what energy healing is? No problem. There will be someone available to just chat, plus you can check out the biographies of the gifted healers.
Along with the paid private sessions there will also be two free 30 minute presentations. Local hypnotherapist, Rosemary Powell will speak on the power of the subconscious mind at 1 p.m. and Hippie store owner, Sarah Rose will teach about healing with high vibrational foods at 4:30 p.m. This will be Sarah's first presentation on this topic.
"Our first energy fair was in December and several people asked me what I was going to be presenting on, in terms of energy work," she said. "I would chuckle and tell them that I was just the business end of things, that the healing work was for the others. Over and over, I had them tell me that I was wrong and that I was a healer as well. I wanted to dismiss their comments as just flattery (or lunacy) but, with some time, I realized that I had a misunderstanding common to many people. I believed that 'healers' were a separate class of people and that the healing arts were reserved for them. I now understand that every one of us has the ability to tap into energy healing. Some of us are born with this ability better developed than others but all of us have it."
Sarah's presentation on high vibration foods is one that she is passionate about and was born from a health scare of her own.
"I'll save the details for my presentation," she laughs, "but after my medical exam I knew I needed to focus not solely on a vegan or even plant-based diet but that I also had to consider the vibration of foods. I also knew that this information was not just for me. I was to share it with others."
By now you might scratching your head thinking, "What in the heck are high vibrational foods?" Sarah understands your confusion.
"When this concept was first presented to me, I had a moment of 'Huh?' But then I quickly understood. A high vibration food is one that you have grown, processed and prepared yourself. That even applies to animal products. Low vibration foods are those that are heavily processed with chemical additives and animal products that are the by-product of factory and commercial farming. Whether you're a meat eater or vegan, you want the majority of your food choices to come from the higher end of the scale for optimal physical, mental and spiritual health."
To learn about high-vibration foods and more, be sure to attend the Energy Fair on March 25, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Healthy Hippie Trading Co., at 20418 Brian Way, Tehachapi. You can also call the store at (661) 822-9797 for more information.
