Tehachapi's Online Community News & Entertainment Guide
Tehachapi is such a loving, giving and supportive community. While we are growing into a larger city, Tehachapi still feels like a small town, taking action and stepping up when members are in need.
One would be hard-pressed to find a member here that is not involved in helping their fellow neighbor in some way, shape or form. These are the people and organizations we’d like to take the time to thank and honor for supporting the work of the Family Life Pregnancy Center and our clients.
The center holds three fundraisers each year. Two of our fundraisers require sponsors to provide for event expenses. Our upcoming fall event, An Evening for Life, is one of those fundraisers. This event will be held at the beautiful Arosa Pines on Sept. 9. This is an evening of fun and excitement as guests taste a variety wines, bubbles and beers; enjoy delicious appetizers; dinner, and dessert by Bord a Petite; enjoy the energy and thrill of our amazing auctions and dance under the Tehachapi stars and moonlight! But none of this would be possible without the support of our generous sponsors and donors.
Sponsors for An Evening for Life provide the funds for the center to put on such an amazing event. Our sponsors this year include Arosa Pines, hosted by Paul and Terry Lopez, who are providing their beautiful Tehachapi country venue as the location and backdrop for this celebration. Our Platinum Sponsor is The Semerenko Team, whose sponsorship also provides the funds to purchase the wine glasses each guest will receive. Our Gold Sponsor is Nadine Page with Jeff Jackson & Associates. Our Media Sponsor, The Loop newspaper, provides for advertising and media coverage. Our Print Sponsor, South Street Digital, Inc., provides all the printing services for invitations, brochures, signage, etc. One of our wine sponsors, Loren Hoffman, a Wine Ambassador for Boisset Collection, is providing wine tastings. Our Silver and Bronze Sponsors, include businesses and families – Congressman Kevin and Judy McCarthy, Berchtold Equipment Theresa Mann Realtor, Bank of the Sierra, Waste Management, Alert Disaster Restoration, Vintage V-12’s, TK’s Pizza, Ashmore Motors, Lara Berard Realtor & Access Real Estate, Sequoia Wellness, Tom See & Associates, The Garrison Family, The Zigtema Family, The Zimmerman Family and The Miles Family. Their sponsorships help provide for all the details necessary to make this event come alive!
The big highlight of this event are the silent and live auctions! We absolutely could not have an auction without an incredible inventory of items on which to bid. Each of our auction items is graciously donated by local supporters.
