Tehachapi's Online Community News & Entertainment Guide
The Well Music and Arts Foundation invites everyone to their first fundraiser, as they turn the Tehachapi Winery into a 1920s speakeasy with the live murder-mystery play “I Love You to Death” by Robert J. Leblanc.
“I Love You to Death” is back by popular demand after its sold out performances at the Oak Tree Country Club. The play is directed by Andi Hicks and stars local actors. The plot thickens and bodies pile up in this tale of crooked deals, jilted loves, betrayal and mayhem. It’s an interactive evening, so come dressed for partying at our 1920s speakeasy and become part of the play. Perhaps you can solve the crime! See the show, play the game, solve the mystery!
All proceeds will go to The Well Music and Arts Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the next generation in our community through teaching artistic excellence in private art/music lessons, group classes and community programs.
The Foundation currently offers private music lessons for students of all ages in piano, guitar, ukulele, voice, guitar, pedal steel and bass in the heart of Downtown Tehachapi. We also offer group classes for children ages 5+ in piano, guitar and voice. In addition, we provide leadership classes, specialized instruction in private and group settings for students with special needs and will be expanding to offer artistic instruction in all disciplines. We want to make the arts affordable, accessible and available to every student in Kern County.
