The California Living Museum (CALM) and the Tree Foundation of Kern are calling all nature enthusiasts to take part in a behind-the-scenes CALM experience. Scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 4 at 7:30 a.m., the event welcomes guests to take tours exploring California native trees and wildlife at CALM and will also provide an inside look at the newly built Wonderful Wildlife Care Clinic.
Tickets will be sold at the door for $25 per adult and $20 per child 3-12 years old (children under 3 are free). Include is a catered breakfast at CALM's new event site, The Willows at CALM, as well as unlimited train rides and early admission to the zoo. Reservations are encouraged, but not required, by emailing Elizabeth Graff at [email protected].
All funds directly benefit the Tree Foundation of Kern.

Since its establishment as a non-profit in 1994, The Tree Foundation of Kern has been dedicated to the advancement of a sustainable urban and community forestry plan in Kern County. Through their work, more than 22,000 trees have been planted in over 500 locations throughout Kern County. Along with planting and stewarding trees throughout Kern County, The Tree Foundation also offers educational events, volunteer opportunities, and workshops to the community.
