Rotary Club of Tehachapi
The Rotary Club of Tehachapi is gearing up for an evening of music and philanthropy as they host a fundraiser concert featuring James Lee Stanley, a renowned Beachwood Recording artist, alongside other talented performers at the historic BeeKay Theatre, 110 S. Green Street, Tehachapi, on May 18 at 7 p.m.
With tickets priced at $25 each, attendees will not only enjoy a night of entertainment, but will also be contributing to a crucial cause. Every nickel raised from the event will directly support the Warrior Food Pantry, a vital initiative at Tehachapi High School.
This teacher-run pantry provides students with access to food before and after school, as well as during school breaks. What an impact having food available for students to bring home for weekends, holidays, dinner, etc. One student who received a packet of chicken was so thrilled and commented that he was planning to make fried chicken for his family that had not had any meat in quite a while.
The fundraiser concert, organized by the Rotary Club of Tehachapi, is a testament to the community's commitment to supporting its youth. The BeeKay Theatre has donated the use of their gorgeous facility for the concert and South Street Digital has donated all of the printing. By coming together for an evening of music and solidarity, attendees will not only enjoy a memorable event, but will also play a direct role in ensuring that students have access to essential resources. Several local businesses have also come together with sponsorships for the Warrior Pantry, including Terra Gen, Pearce Renewables, BHE Renewables, Waste Management and Craig & Marsh Huff.
With his soulful melodies and captivating stage presence, James Lee Stanley promises to deliver an unforgettable performance for a cause that resonates deeply with the community.
The BeeKay Theatre, steeped in history and charm, provides the perfect backdrop for this charitable event. The theater has long been a hub for cultural enrichment in Tehachapi.
Limited tickets for the fundraiser concert are still available for purchase by calling Linda Carhart at (818) 519-7144 or emailing [email protected]. Whether you're a music enthusiast or simply passionate about supporting the well-being of students, mark your calendars for May 18 and join the Rotary Club of Tehachapi in making a difference.
In a world where the power of community knows no bounds, let's come together to ensure that no student goes hungry.
