Museum plans for annual rummage sale, June 1

It’s time for spring cleaning and that is a perfect time to discover items that you no longer need. You can donate them to Tehachapi Heritage League for their annual rummage sale which takes place June 1. They are accepting donations Tuesday through Thursday, May 28 to May 30.

Please bring items someone else may find useful such as gently used clothing, household items, tools, decorative items or small furniture. Place items on the porch of the Errea House, which is located at 311 S. Green St. Volunteers will sort and price items on those days. They have reserved Friday for final organization of the sale which takes place on Saturday, June 1, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The Heritage League relies on donations to maintain both the Tehachapi Museum and the Errea House. THL has served Tehachapi by preserving the history of the area and welcoming visitors to learn about the past. Hours for visiting are Saturday and Sunday from noon until 4 p.m.
