Officer promoted, Extraordinary Woman recognized

Officer Andy Orozco was promoted to Senior Police Officer. The promotion was presented by Lt. Justin Ruppert and Orozco's wife pinned his badge.

Mary Cunningham, one of the women selected to receive Tehachapi's Extraordinary Women Recognition was honored at Monday's City Council meeting. Mary was unable to make the original presentation made by the City Council at their March 4 meeting.

The Tehachapi City Council meets on the first and third Monday of the month at 6 p.m. They are currently meeting at the Police Department Community Room, 220 W. C St.
