Celebration of Life: Julie Robin O'Shea - November 1948 – May 2024

Provided.

Julie Robin O'Shea.

Julie Robin O'Shea was born in El Centro, California, and was one of seven siblings.

She had many jobs and hobbies, including the telephone company, disco teacher, receptionist for a brokerage firm and a volunteer for the wildlife ways station for exotic animals. She also worked as an extra in TV shows. One of her biggest accomplishments was to get her special license to drive a water truck for Eagle Water Company.

She moved to Tehachapi approximately 15 years ago and immediately fell in love with the community and its various wildlife. While living in Stallion Springs and Tehachapi she became a volunteer police officer and played in a local bagpipe band as a drummer.

Julie had many friends and neighbors that she loved. One of her favorite things was waking up, driving her golf cart down to the local store and getting her morning Pepsi on ice. Julie loved her cats and rescued any strays she could find.

Julie left behind her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters and brother. She was taken from us in a tragic way that has left her family and friends shocked and heartbroken.

My mother was always on the move, never sitting still and did not want to die in a hospital bed. She passed quickly doing something she enjoyed with someone she enjoyed being with. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of being in her dynamic and unforgettable presence.
