Tehachapi's Online Community News & Entertainment Guide

Rockin' the rollin' hills of T-town

If you're a rocker of music, then Tehachapi Winery Music Festival was the place to be! The seats were empty because the dance floor was full. People jumped up when they heard their favorite song playing, letting the vibrations move them in such liberating ways, and making connections to each band member.

Tehachapi Winery kept the libations flowing with choices of beer and wine, and the bartenders were absolutely attentive to their guests. They were all smiles, and rockin' out to the music, as well.

With live music playing in the background, people would meander throughout the vendors, which included jewelry, wood products, country clothing, 3D printed art, a photo booth, creative signs, quilted bags, incense, metal art, cowboy hats decorated on the spot and so on. There were also plenty of food choices, from tacos to pizza and slushies to wine slushies.

Their lineup of bands was Lipstick Revolver, Dead Enderz, Blue Mountain Tribe, Caleb Henry and the Customs, American Mile, Smokin' Jack Primo, MGB and Tulare Dust Band. They entertained the crowd for 10 hours, and someone was always dancing to the music.

It was fun to see people laughing, chillin', bobbing their heads and fellowshipping with groups of friends. As the sun went down, the crowd didn't slow down one bit, and it was as if they got their second wind. Hair was whipping, feet were hopping' and hands were waving in the air to the rhythm of the music.

Tehachapi came to life, folks, and Tehachapi Winery became the perfect host in bringing us this much needed event to let down our hair, and let loose. Next year will be their third year, and I'm sure they would love to see you come back, and wear out their dance floor.
