Congratulations are in order! The Desert Rose Garden Club of California City received an unexpected award. The statewide, California Garden Club Inc., recognized the DRGC with a Blue Ribbon Certificate of Achievement.

Since restoring Cal the Tortoise and landscaping the Kiosk, the DRGC has also recorded 1128.35 volunteer hours and $1,938.89 of in-kind donations. A lot of consideration, strategy and work has gone into improving our city, but no one "thunk" about the reach it would get. Much more to come!
