Farmers Market Vendor Spotlight
Brite Creek Farm's journey began when owner Hannah Shipman was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, which caused joint pain and limited movement.
The Shipman family decided to pursue nutritional and holistic methods of treatment. This led to a revelation. They switched to foods grown without the use of pesticides, and whenever possible grass-fed and pasture-raised proteins.
After their success, Brite Creek Farm was born and offers grass-fed beef, pastured chicken and fresh vegetables including melons, tomato, watermelons, sweet corn, lettuce, arugula, cabbage, beets, spinach, zucchini, yellow squash and carrots. There will also be a variety of flowers and herbs like cilantro, parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, oregano and chives. Don't forget to pick up delicious cookies and other baked foods.
You can find Brite Creek Farm on Highline/Banducci Road, Tehachapi for pick-up and boutique shopping. Visit http://www.britecreekfarm.com/ or call (661) 301-1043/(661) 972-7370.
