The City of Tehachapi and the Tehachapi Valley Recreation & Park District announce new Pickleball Group Workshops will be held during July at the new TPD Pickleball Courts on C Street.

Professional Pickleball Instructor Glenda Love will teach a four-week Beginner Pickleball Workshop on Mondays beginning July 8 through July 29, a four-week Intermediate Pickleball Workshop on Tuesdays beginning July 9 through July 30, and a four-week Cardio Live Drills Group Class on Wednesdays beginning July 10 through July 31, all times are 6 to 7:30 p.m. The classes are open to all ages 12 and up. The four-week sessions cost $60 per person.

Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in America and is enjoyed by all ages. The City of Tehachapi opened the TPD Pickleball Courts to the public on May 1 and have seen its use grow daily. The new pickleball courts are in the Tehachapi Police Department parking lot, located at 220 W. C St., Tehachapi.
