Trail's End Farm

Farmers Market Vendor Spotlight

Provided by Trail's End Farm.

A misty morning on the farm.

Trail's End Farm is a small farm in Walker Basin, California. They have four acres with one acre for veggie and flower production, a quarter acre orchard and the remaining 2.75 acres are grazed by animals. The focus is to transform previous horse pastures full of weed seeds and compaction to beautiful, organic matter heavy soil to grow nutrient-dense food.

They are not "certified organic," but practice organic growing principles by never spraying herbicides or pesticides and minimally till.

Available this year are seasonal vegetables including garlic, tomatoes, watermelons, chiles, greens, squash and corn. Also, enjoy their cut flower bouquets with sunflowers, dahlias, marigolds and zinnias. They also sell eggs from their flock of very spoiled chickens and ducks, that are free to roam the pastures.
