Tehachapi Police Department
On Thursday, June 27, and again on Thursday, July 25 from 7:30 to 9 a.m., Tehachapi Police Chief Richard Standridge invites the community to join him and his command staff at Mountain Coffee House, 120 S. Mill St., Tehachapi, for Coffee with the Chief.
Following the local tradition of Coffee with the Mayor and Coffee with a Cop events, Chief Standridge would like to make himself available for a conversation and a cup of coffee in a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Mountain House Coffee is a perfect spot to have a one-on-one conversation. The chief and his staff will be available to answer questions, listen to your thoughts/complaints and have a conversation about public safety in Tehachapi.
"I would like to welcome the community to stop by and have a cup of coffee with me and members of the Tehachapi Police Department Command Staff. This is a great way to sit down and discuss important issues pertaining to public safety or to just talk and learn about the department," said Chief Standridge.
The fourth Thursday of June and July will be the first two events, and based on attendance Chief Standridge will decide how often to host Coffee with the Chief events in the coming months.
