Hello, neighbors! I want to take this opportunity to reintroduce our small business. I am Laura, the owner and designer at Blooms, and we have been in business for about 10 months. For those of you just discovering us, let me tell you a bit about us.

Blooms operates from a home floral studio in Golden Hills and delivers fresh flower arrangements, subscriptions and custom orders for events all over the Greater Tehachapi area. Whether it is a one-time order for a special occasion; a recurring weekly, bi-weekly or monthly subscription; or flowers for a memorial, party or corporate event, we can help.

Our business model is simple: to provide the freshest product possible, with excellent customer service and an artistic, personal touch. We source our vases and containers from anywhere we find something interesting, we are not affiliated with any wire services or online flower companies and we are more than happy to accommodate customized requests whenever possible. As a result, there are never any duplicated designs going out the door. Each one is unique and created to fit your order.

Every week, we visit the Los Angeles area flower markets, looking for fresh, unusual and beautiful blooms to fill our cooler. With a bit of advance notice, we can buy specific flower types or colors for you, or you can just request a Designer's Choice option, which means we select the best assortment to fit your budget and occasion.

When it's growing season in Tehachapi, like it is now, we source additional flowers from a handful of local growers. Snapdragons, peonies, cosmos, ranunculus, sunflowers and sweet peas are just a few of the varieties that Tehachapi flower growers offer, and that Blooms has purchased to use in our arrangements. In buying locally grown flowers, we are in pursuit of the very freshest options, as well as collaborating with other small businesses that keep our money in the Tehachapi area.

Social media plays a huge role in our business. We are on both Instagram and Facebook with the username of "Blooms.Tehachapi.CA" and, if you visit either of our pages, you will find thousands of photos of designs we have delivered. This gives you an idea of our work and style and also might help when it comes to ordering.
