Winners of the Spring into Action Challenge pose for photos in front of the TVRPD offices.

At the June 18 Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Park District meeting, General Manager Corey Torres announced the winners of their Spring into Action challenge that began on March 21 in partnership with the City of Tehachapi. Participants were challenged to run/walk, cycle and swim over a 3 month period and log their miles. They were encouraged to sign up as teams and individuals. TVRPD presented awards to the winners and then posed for a group photograph.

The summer challenge "Fit and Fun Under the Sun" began on June 17 and will end on September 2. You still have time to sign up at http://www.tvrpd.org/.
