Betty June Burgeis went to be with the Lord with her husband and children by her side on June 24 in Bakersfield, California.

Betty loved God above all. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, watching hummingbirds in her backyard and being a present and loving grandma and nana to her grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Morphis.

Betty is survived by her husband of 49 years – Donald Burgeis. Daughters Stephanie (spouse Terry) and Crystal (spouse Jesus). Grandchildren Austin, Larrisa, Isaac, Adam, Elijah and Avery. Her mother Joyce French and sister Diane Morphis.

Services will be held at Abundant Life Church, Friday, July 19, at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Services will follow at Tehachapi Cemetery Westside.

Donations may be made to the Burgeis Family in remembrance. Charitable donations may be made to cancer research in Betty's name.
