Tehachapi Hitching Post Theater FUNdraiser to be continued…

Thank you Lorena Semerenko and Amber Mitchell for your support of the annual American Association of University Women fundraiser. When approached to continue that which Will Viner started over 15 years ago, the new owners of Tehachapi Hitching Post Theater did not even skip a beat.

This is one of two annual fundraisers for AAUW Scholarship Fund for Women. In addition to the fundraiser, which starts in September and ends with a drawing at our Christmas party, Lorena and Amber have promised to honor the ticket held by last year’s winner and current board member, Jackie Estes. Ticket winners or not, our members support this essential Tehachapi business. Who doesn’t like a good movie? Particularly as a get away from this latest heat wave!

The Tehachapi community has been so generous with their support prioritizing the education of our young people. We are so grateful. Fundraiser details will be in a September issue of The Loop.
