This is article No. 17 in a series. See previous The Loop newspaper issues on http://www.TheLoopNewspaper.com for more information, education and inspiration in how Joyful Life Hypnotherapy can help you have the joyful life you deserve.

I had no opinion one way or another when I was first introduced to Past Life Regression Therapy at the Hypnotherapy Academy of America, and again during an advanced training with California Hypnosis Academy. However, I have come to realize this process is valuable for both me and my clients who request these sessions.

Past Life Regression Therapy, a practice rooted in ancient beliefs and spiritual traditions, has garnered both fascination and skepticism in contemporary times. While some may still harbor doubts, the evidence supporting the existence of past lives is vast and compelling. I am not writing this to convince everyone that we have multiple incarnations, but instead to suggest: can Past Life Regression Therapy offer information that can shed light on and improve the life we are living now? My experience is a resounding, "Yes."

PLRT is a profound hypnosis process: the client, guided into trance, a peaceful state of mind, where they are awake but very relaxed. In this relaxed state they can access their deepest memories. The facilitator does not give information, instead guides them to significant times in that life, inquiring for information when needed. They are guided to moments in that life and then to the time of death. They learn how they died, who was there, what was said.

The primary practitioners who have written extensively about past lives include Dr. Brian Weiss, Dr. Michael Newton and Dolores Cannon. Dr. Weiss, a psychiatrist, is known for his groundbreaking book, "Many Lives, Many Masters," where he explores past life regression therapy. Dr. Newton, a hypnotherapist, authored "Journey of Souls," which delves into life between lives and the soul's journey. Dolores Cannon, also a hypnotherapist, developed the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) and wrote numerous books, including "Between Death and Life," exploring past lives and spiritual insights from her clients' regressions. These authors have significantly contributed to the field. In fact, studies suggest that the majority of the world population believes in reincarnation and past lives, that's approximately two-thirds of people embrace the concept of life after death and the possibility of reincarnation.

Past Life Regression Therapy offers a unique opportunity to explore and heal unresolved issues from previous lifetimes, thereby facilitating personal growth and spiritual evolution. By accessing the subconscious mind through hypnosis, individuals can uncover memories, emotions and experiences from past incarnations, gaining insight into recurring patterns, relationships and life lessons.

Did you ever meet someone that you are sure you have known before? Do you have a strong attraction to a certain period of time in history? Is there a country, culture or foods that you are particularly attracted to? There is much to discover with Past Life Regression.

Many practitioners and clients attest to profound transformations and healing with Past Life Regression. Through the exploration of past lives, individuals often gain clarity, release emotional burdens and find resolution to long-standing issues. Moreover, the insights gained from past life experiences can inform and enrich one's present life, fostering greater self-awareness and empowerment.

In the end, whether one chooses to embrace the concept of past lives or not, the exploration of our spiritual heritage and the quest for deeper understanding remain universal aspirations that unite us all.
