Tehachapi Police Department
Over the past few months, the Tehachapi Police Department has received numerous complaints regarding a police vehicle driving recklessly in various locations throughout the City of Tehachapi.
On June 20, officers were dispatched to the area of Tk's Pizza and Burger King for the same type of call. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle, an older model Crown Victoria, which appears to be an auctioned police vehicle from a Southern California police agency, in the parking lot of Burger King on Tehachapi Blvd.
The vehicle was determined to be the vehicle involved in the reckless driving call in the area and parking lot. The driver identified as Colton Jorian, 25, of Tehachapi was ultimately arrested, cited and released at the scene for reckless driving and operating a replica police car.
The vehicle was towed and placed on a 30-day impound.
The Tehachapi Police Department would like to thank members of our community for your information and assistance in bringing this continued nuisance issue to a positive resolution.
