Makers Market in Railroad Park

For centuries, artisans and crafts persons have traveled from venue to venue setting up their stalls and showing off their creations in hopes of attracting customers to their booths and making sales.

This tradition continues Aug. 17 and 18, at Railroad Park with the Makers Market, hosted by Tehachapi Valley Arts Association and sponsored by Waste Management. Join the creativity on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It's a wonderful time for people to get out in the fresh mountain air, reconnect with friends they haven't seen in a while and indulge in delicious fair food, fresh squeezed lemonade and browse for that special gift or something new for your home.
