Jack Larry Booze peacefully passed away on June 16 in Denton, Texas. A memorial service will be officiated by Dr. Larry Booze on Aug. 23 at Christian Life Assembly Church, 920 W. Valley Blvd., Tehachapi, at 10 a.m. There will be a private interment at Tehachapi Public Cemetery – Westside.

Jack is the youngest son of parents Harold and Lovera (Schonauer) Booze. He was born in Mansfield, Ohio and was a college graduate from Bethany Bible College.

He married Betty Lou Smith on June 8, 1974. Jack worked as a pastor, greenhouse salesman and enthusiastic supporter of Betty's doll repair business. He was a member of Christian Life Assembly Church for many years, supporting and serving faithfully in leadership, teaching, prayer, building maintenance and wherever else was needed.

While Jack didn't have conventional hobbies, he loved connecting with people in his community and making an impact on the lives of others for Jesus Christ. He looked forward every week to the assembling of his friends at Carlos' Donuts to partake in his favorite apple fritters and coffee. He ardently supported the Assemblies of God church's foreign missions program. Jack always valued his family and was so proud of the accomplishments of his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchild.

Jack is survived by his children: Larry and Judy Booze of Streator, Illinois; Carmela and Robert Noel of Palmdale, California; Henry Booze of Santa Cruz, California; Sharon and Rick Stabile of Corinth, Texas; Janene Harris of Buellton, California;, Linda Heisser of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; Pam and Randy Baker of West Sacramento, California; and Johnett Latone of Akron, Ohio. He has 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Jack was preceded in death by his siblings, his son Jarron Lucas, his son-in-law Dale Harris and his beloved wife Betty Lou Booze.
