The Salvation Army serves Tehachapi youth with Back to School event

The Salvation Army of Tehachapi had another successful year with their annual Back to School event. The event served over 60 local Tehachapi families with new backpacks, clothing, and school supplies. 162 backpacks and over 1,400 articles of clothing were distributed to local families. We want to thank all of our hardworking volunteers for all of the amazing work they did to make the event run smoothly. A heartfelt thanks to the Tehachapi Pageant Queens who donated clothing and volunteered at the event. We also want to thank the Tehachapi Lions club for their generous donations of new school supplies.
