This beautiful Raffle Basket of more than 100 fat quarters was raffled during Maker's Market. Some lucky winner will be busy this winter making Quilts.

The next meeting for the Tehachapi Mountain Quilters will be on Monday, Sept. 9, at Shepherd of the Hills Church, in Tehachapi.

Socializing begins at 9 a.m. and the meeting starts at 9:30 a.m. Our speaker for this month will be Tina Curran. She will have a Trunk Show showing her Art Quilts, a picture or design executed in fabric, thread and batting. Her Art Quilts are more decorative than utilitarian purposes. Her Art Quilts have been on display in multiple art and quilt shows, as well as in quilt magazines and three books.

We will be having a Quilt Show on Oct. 12 and 13, during Apple Festival. Our Show will be held at the Aspen Builders Inc. Activity Center in the ABIAC Gym. Tickets will be sold for our beautiful Opportunity Quilt, during this event. All proceeds go toward High School Scholarships.
