Brewfondo Gravel riding event, Oct. 5

The Tehachapi Mountain Trails Association (TMTA) is hosting its annual Brewfondo Gravel riding event. Don't let the name fool you, we aren't sending cyclists all over Tehachapi while drinking alcohol. It's a cycling event open to all ages and families with an after-party at TK Pizza.

The event will have three course options, ranging from "very difficult" to "easy." The courses will take you through the historic downtown, transition to the TMTA Trails System and then wind you through various suburbs of Tehachapi, mostly on gravel roads. This year the TMTA has chosen the Tehachapi Chapter of the American Legion Post 221 to receive a donation. We are excited to honor military men and women by donating to an organization that gives back to the local community of Tehachapi. Come out on Saturday, Oct. 5, and ride or volunteer.
