Tehachapi offers many opportunities throughout the year to mingle with friends and family; make new friends; build relationships and enjoy life with each other while building a stronger, healthier community. From festivals to farmers markets to charitable events, celebrations abound in our growing mountain town. An Evening for Life is one of these amazing experiences.

An Evening for Life is an annual fundraising event held to support the work of the Family Life Pregnancy Center. The center is 100% donor based and offers many pregnancy related resources to anyone in East Kern (women and men). Our services for self-administered pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds (up to 14 weeks), childbirth/parenting classes, material resources (from baby essentials to clothing and more), classes to overcome child loss or childhood trauma, sexual health education, etc. The services keep growing and everything is free!

The center provides these necessary resources with the help of faithful volunteers, strong board members and generous donors. While donations of all kinds are always greatly needed and appreciated, An Evening for Life offers a fun time for community members to gather together and enjoy a lighthearted evening, while investing in their community.

This year's event will be held on Oct. 5 at Arosa Pines, 22265 Delta Ct. An Evening for Life offers wine and beer tastings, dinner, and dessert. The heart of the evening is the auctions. We have silent and live auctions, providing for lively entertainment! Afterwards, the evening winds down with a little dancing under the stars.

While all proceeds of the evening go toward supporting and enhancing the work of the center, this special time allows us to serve our generous sponsors and donors while giving back to those who support our work as they go home with full bellies, a gift or more from auctions won and hopefully, a full heart - filled with all the love and appreciation we have for each individual.

Every year, generous sponsors allow us to present this festive, FUNdraising event, so we can continue to invest more resources, grow stronger individuals/families and provide more opportunity for our community.
