Tehachapi Quilt Show, Oct., 12-13

The Tehachapi Mountain Quilters are excited for this year's Quilt Show. Between Covid and economic reasons it has been seven long years since we have had a show.

The Quilt Show will be held on Oct. 12 and 13 at the Aspen Builders Inc. Activity Center, 410 W. D St. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6-16 and under 6 is free (no strollers).

We have more than 100 quilts on display, Tehachapi Mountain Quilters Portraits of our members, traditional quilts and quilts that are Fabric Art.

We'll also have spectacular opportunity baskets, curated by theme. There's something for everyone, even your dog!

Be sure to shop our boutique. Our members have sewn all summer to make handmade items for you and gifts for the holidays.

One of our long-time members, Cheryl Johnson, will be available to answer your questions regarding caring for your family's vintage quilts, dating/pattern information and restoration suggestions. Cheryl will also provide documentation and appraisals upon request.

Our 2024 featured Quilter will be our own Frosti Acord. Her beautiful quilts will be on display at the Quilt Show. She is a long-time resident of Bear Valley Springs, raising her three children here.
