A 60s-themed Halloween Day Grand Reopening Celebration...only at the Healthy Hippie, in Tehachapi!

As the spirits stir and the veil between worlds grows thin this Halloween, the Healthy Hippie is set to celebrate its new ownership and the spooky season with you. The official grand re-opening will take place on Oct. 31, promising a day filled with events, workshops, live music (TBA) and much more!

The shop, located at 20418 Brian Way, offers a wide variety of crystals, teas, spiritual books, incense, essential oils, tarot cards, groovy apparel and locally crafted items. The previous owner, Sarah Rose, has now passed the metaphysical torch to myself, Kim Durham-Ashton and my amazing husband Thorne Ashton, two local Tehachapian's who share a passion for spirituality and holistic healing.

The Hippie is more than a place of business for us.... It is a safe space for our community to embrace their individuality, expand their mind, make positive connections and manifest this evolution of consciousness that we are all experiencing.

The re-opening celebration starts at 2 p.m. and will continue into the evening until 7 p.m. Enjoy live music from local bands, refreshments, tarot readings by Jallen, craft creations, games and much more! As part of the grand re-opening festivities, attendees are encouraged to come in your best '60s hippie attire! Prizes will be awarded for the best and most groovy outfits.

Have the advantage of checking out new inventory and new additions to the Hippie such as the apothecary and healers' room. We are also offering 10% off select items as part of our magical Halloween event.

We are also introducing a list of events and services to our community that cater to a variety of different interests. This includes binaural beat sound baths, Reiki treatments, tarot readings, drum circles, guitar/mandolin lessons, paint nights and house cleansings as part of the new Hippie brand. We are open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. So, please come by and see how the Hippie can resonate with your spiritual journey. We hope to see you there!
