California Highway Patrol welcomes new officer

We welcomed Officer Ted Thorson, #24033, to the California Highway Patrol, Mojave area.

He graduated from the CHP Academy in West Sacramento on Sept. 13. He is excited for the opportunity to serve the communities in Eastern Kern County. Over the course of the next few months, Officer Thorson will be training with various officers and learning how to best serve California. The CHP Mojave Area is looking forward to the positive influence he will have on Kern County.
