Kam Kreations is the work of Karen Munson. A resident of Bear Valley and our newest vendor/artist here at the Arts Center. Using her talent, art skills and attention to detail Karen creates unique and beautiful floral and ribbon wreaths for all seasons and events.
One of our newer artists, Jamie Barnes, will be teaching two classes creating wonderful pressed flower arrangements.
The first on Saturday, Nov. 2 will be a fall meadow arrangement from 1 to 3 p.m.
The second conducted on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 1 to 3 p.m, will be a fall basket.
Join Leila Klieman our resident glass artist and create beautiful Christmas tree decorations.
The class starts at 10:30 a.m. Be sure to wear closed toed shoes.
Also, on Friday, Nov. 8 she will conduct an open studio working with Fused Glass from 1 to 3 p.m.
Class starts at 2 p.m. His style is reminiscent of Bob Ross. A fun class that results in a great painting even for beginners.
This month our Improv Workshop has moved to the second Saturday. Hone your skills exercise your mind and have a great time. This is a fun class that anyone can enjoy. Class starts at 5 p.m.
Dust off that old guitar, keyboard, drums or? We meet after 5 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday.
We play all kinds of songs and spend as much time learning as we do playing.
All levels are welcome. Use the back door as we shut the front one down for the night.
Runamuk will be conducting Potters Choice classes on Sundays, Nov. 3 and 17 from 1 to 3 p.m. Every Monday 3 to 8 p.m. Every Thursday (except Thanksgiving day) 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We are now open 6 days a week. Regular hours are Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Note: We stay open later for unique events such as Thursday's Farmers Market, local fairs, community events and holidays. If the flags are out, we're open!
If you are looking for a place to display your art, consider joining us here as a co-op member or as an artist-vendor. If you have an artistic skill you would like to share, and you want to teach other artists, we invite you to join our classroom. Young artists are welcome too. We are proud to have our young artists at the Tehachapi Arts Center.
The Tehachapi Arts Center is a cooperative continuing the heritage of Mel White's Treasure Trove, providing a venue for local artisans to gather, learn, teach, display, and sell their art.
