Akropolis Reed Quintet, Nov. 3

The first offering for the Ridgecrest Chamber Music Society 2024-25 Concert Season is from the award winning Akropolis Reed Quintet. RCMS is pleased to be able to bring this exciting and dynamic group to the Ridgecrest music loving community for the first time at 4 p.m. on Nov. 3 at the Ridgecrest Methodist Church, 639 N. Norma St.

Founded in 2009, Akropolis will perform both traditional as well as some new and exciting pieces. Akropolis in its collaboration with poets, a metal fabricator, dancers, small business owners, string quartets, pop vocalists and more, bring reed quintet performance to a new dynamic and exciting level. Akropolis is dedicated to providing engaging musical experiences to all and is committed to providing interesting musical experiences to young people. Their performance is accessible to all who wish to enjoy a beautiful and heartfelt musical experience.

The Ridgecrest Chamber Music Society is fortunate to bring musicians and programs of this caliber to the Ridgecrest community. RCMS is particularly grateful to the artists who, as before, present shortened education programs to the local student population at no cost to the students.

This wonderful musical experience will again be presented at the Ridgecrest Methodist Church, 639 North Norma Street.

As we look forward to welcoming Akropolis Reed Quintet for the first time, the Ridgecrest Chamber Music Society wishes to extend its thanks to the many dedicated patrons who continue to support the mission of bringing beautiful and inspiring music to the Ridgecrest area as well as supporting music education for the students of this community.
