Tehachapi Police Foundation to host Shop with a Cop event, Dec. 5

On Dec. 5, the Tehachapi Police Foundation, in collaboration with local law enforcement agencies, will host the annual Shop with a Cop event at the Tehachapi Walmart. This initiative aims to provide 15 deserving children, from grades 3 and 4 within the Tehachapi area, an unforgettable holiday experience. The selected children, who are identified as being in need, will have the opportunity to meet Santa Claus and enjoy a festive shopping trip with officers.

The Foundation is seeking nominations from the public to help identify children who would benefit from this program. To nominate a child, please provide the child's name, address and contact information, along with a brief description of their circumstances. Nominations should be submitted via email to [email protected] by Nov. 15.

Community members who wish to contribute to the Shop with a Cop program or the Tehachapi Police Foundation are encouraged to contact the Tehachapi Police Department at (661) 822-2222 to discuss donation opportunities.
