Mango Haus Lounge: a healthy, delicious choice

Tehachapi residents can now enjoy a "Certified Healthy" meal at Mango Haus Lounge. Owners Johnny and Karen Diaz's focus has been to show residents that healthy food can taste great.

Along with their Bakersfield location, Mango Haus, Mango Haus Lounge was recently included in the Certified Healthy Program, by the Kern County Department of Public Health Services, making it the first restaurant in Tehachapi with this designation.

Their hope is to create a "new movement" within the restaurants, by working together to offer the community a healthier choice.

Mango Haus Lounge's hours are Monday through Saturday (closed Sunday), dinner hours are 3 to 9 p.m. They offer brunch on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Located at 20601 W. Valley Blvd., (661) 518-3224, @mangohauslounge.
