When you come to the BeeKay Theatre, home of Tehachapi Community Theatre Association, you'll be coming to see family. And, just like in any family, we each have something different we bring to the table.

Remember the grandma in "Addams Family," played by Chris Morales? The one with the rats scurrying around in her hair? Well, she's back, and eccentric as ever! Did you happen to see "Murder on the Orient Express?" You'll get to see the director of that show, David Stenstrom, this time in the spotlight doing what he loves most. Recall the leg lamp loving old man in "A Christmas Story?" David Shacklock returns to the stage with another illuminating performance. Catch "Clue?" Craig Weishaar, the talented actor who played the butler in overdrive, is playing a much more sinister role in "Oliver!" Do your kids take dance at J & M Dance Center from Miss Karina Coghlan-Engelbrecht? Get ready to see the amazing choreography she created, while simultaneously starring as a lead role in the show and getting married in real life!

We have new talent as well as veteran actors, supporting each other as we share the spotlight. And we would literally be in the dark without the skilled hands of Jason Hansen, who has been up in the tech booth lighting show after show for years. You don't see him, but you wouldn't see anything without him! Remember the breathtaking sets that transported you to the Orient Express and the Addams Family's haunting home? James Carhart, the mastermind behind those sets, is working his magic again, bringing Victorian London to life for "Oliver!" Did you know we have a city councilmember, Jeanette Pauer, with a not-so-hidden talent? Her artistic masterpiece will bring the enchantment of London to you, no passport required. And where would we be without our stalwart director, Jason Wheeler, who has been meticulously planning every detail of the show since February!

It takes a family to create something extraordinary. It takes every person working toward a common goal, giving their own best selves to the process. That is exactly what we've done. And guess what? There's room at the table for you, too. Come to "Oliver!" And consider yourself one of us!
