Tehachapi's Online Community News & Entertainment Guide
On Nov. 16, Kelley and David Walker, owners of The Pillage Village, braved the November chill with their family and community and cut a ribbon for their shop's grand opening. Throughout the day, guests filled the store browsing through myriad items and finding treasures. Several guests won giveaway prizes and everyone enjoyed the snack bar. When it was time to cut the ribbon, all the guests came together to support the family. Kelley and her husband David have helped the community by donating items such as Christmas trees to make holidays a little more bright for families. Inside the store, customers can find everything from clothing, kids toys, furniture, appliances, kitchen equipment, tools, decor and more. The owners will even deliver items for free within 30 miles. One guest said that they make sure to save a few extra minutes for The Pillage Village before they go shopping online because they often find what they are looking for at a discount.
