White Rabbit Studios celebrates grand opening

On Nov. 13, Chris Morales, owner of White Rabbit Studios, stood with her partner, Mary Jane Utley, and over 100 residents to cut the ribbon for her new business. Surrounded by friends, colleagues and city officials, Chris shared her journey from her love of acting on stage and directing plays to realizing a dream come true with White Rabbit Studios. The new space, located on 117 S. Mill St., offers lessons in improv, piano, guitar, acting, puppetry and more. The larger entry space can be used for public events like birthday parties, yoga classes, crafting workshops and more. There is even a small art gallery inside the business. "This is a space for us all to come and just be; no judgment, no pressure, just come and create and learn," Chris said before she cut the ribbon. Tehachapi has a new place to be creative.
