Christopher passed suddenly on Nov. 8 at the age of 37.

Christopher was born on Jan. 16, 1987, to parents Mary Wilson and Adam Perez Jr. in Lancaster, California. He moved to Tehachapi in 1995.

Chris loved being outside, playing with his dogs, fishing, camping and taking walks with his best friend, King – his beloved dog. He loved to garden and BBQ. He was larger than life. He loved his family and friends. They were his priority in life. He loved to laugh and have fun, and his laugh was so infectious, and a one of a kind. Chris was a true-blue Dodger fan. He loved to go to Taco Samich for a carne asada burrito. Chris served his country in the Army where he served as a sergeant overseas. He was awarded several medals and ribbons.

Chris is preceded in death by his father, Adam Perez Jr., and grandfather James Wilson.

Chris is survived by his parents Mary and Jay Walker; daughter Mira Wilson; siblings Michael Guenther, Kimberly (and her husband Jesse) Moors; fiancée Jessica Good; grandparents Adam and Martha Perez, Irene and Joe Cantu, Esther Mora; aunts Patricia Gitz, Dina Perez Carrera, Peggy Rowan, Teri Schaufelberger, Raquel Duran, Yvette Perez and Lynda Perez; uncles James Wilson, Howard Wilson, David Perez, Jesse Perez, Michael Gitz, Greg Willis, Efrain Carrera; cousins Minonne Wilson, Brittany Wilson, Justin Woldhagen, Nicholas Thomas, William Thomas, Adrian Bruton, Ayrianna Bruton, Rowan Hill, Kali Wilson, Lia Rojas, Mason Perez, Dominic Perez, Chris Bonilla, Angela Long, John Long and Kira Poche; nieces Lacy Moors, Lylah Moors and Lily Guenther; as well as many friends. All will miss him deeply.

Services will be held at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Tehachapi. The burial will be held at Bakersfield National Cemetery in Arvin. Dates will be set soon.
