Merry Christmas from Blooms!

Provided.

This week, as I write this article, the downtown area has been turned into a Hometown Christmas card, our flower cooler is full of gorgeous seasonal blooms and all the best Christmas music plays in my studio while I design your orders. In spite of our summer-like weather, it's one of my favorite times of the year.

Last month, I wrote about my Thanksgiving memories, how we would all gather at my grandparents' house, filling it with happy noise, and how my aunt would bring a floral centerpiece. Just like at Thanksgiving, my family's Christmas festivities also involved a greenery design with red and white flowers and candles sitting in the middle of the table laden with food.

It gives me enormous delight to continue that family tradition with so many of you. I loved hearing the responses from you about your memories and to hear your versions of how your family celebrates the holidays. This truly is one of the best things about this time of year – the chance to connect with both friends and strangers alike; to see family that may be separated by miles or by busy schedules; and to take the time to express gratitude and delight with those who love you best.

May your Christmas be merry and bright, filled with comfort and joy! Happiest of holiday wishes from Blooms.

We'll see you in the new year!
