Sharon Lerrie Lozar, 83, of Bear Valley Springs, our beloved, wife, mother, sister and friend, went home on Dec. 16, 2024.
Born in Los Angeles, California, Sharon was the oldest child in a family of a brother and two sisters. Sharon married Lynn Clayton Lozar in 1969. In 1974, they moved to Oregon to raise their family. They returned to California in 1999 and settled in Bear Valley Springs.
Her passions in life were serving the Lord, loving her family, helping others in need, golf and enjoying God's creations big and small.
People who knew Sharon recognized her capacity for kindness, gentleness and love. She set a wonderful example of how one walks in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. Sharon's joy was boundless and readily shared with family and friends.
Sharon is survived by her sons, Lonny and Lael; her daughter-in-law, Barbora; and granddaughter, Abigail. Sharon is also survived by brother, Scott, and sisters, Sheila and Shelley.
Interment service will be held at Bakersfield National Cemetery in Arvin, California, on Jan. 8, at 2 p.m.
