Christmas Concert at Shepherd of the Hills Church

While having coffee with a musician friend of mine on Dec. 21, I found out he would be playing with Southern Sierra Pops Orchestra that day at the Shepherd of the Hills Church.

The set list was a great mix of classic Christmas songs.

The orchestra is 27 musicians strong, and conducted by James Reddish. We heard 12 classic Christmas song selections with guest singer, soloist Christina Scrivner, who joined the orchestra for "Panis Angelicus."

Some of the other songs included, "Fantasy on the Huron Carol," "A Vaughan Williams Christmas" and "Santa Baby," just to name a few.
