Tehachapi's Online Community News & Entertainment Guide
Brian Farley St. John went to be with our Heavenly Father on Dec. 17, 2024, after a very courageous and hard fought battle with multiple myeloma.
Brian was born to Maureen and Julian St. John on July 2, 1961, in Encino, California. He attended Simi Valley High School and was in the class of 1979. Brian served over 20 years as a senior code enforcement officer for the City of Lancaster before his retirement.
Brian was always the funniest guy in the room and thoroughly enjoyed making everybody laugh. My father enjoyed being a trustee at our local Tehachapi Congregational Church, a member of the E Clampus Vitus group Chapter 1.5, a Scoutmaster for Troop 594 and the local driving instructor that a lot of people in town remember him by. Brian was most proud of being a member of the Osage Nation.
Brian is proceeded in death by his father Julian St. John; brother Daniel St. John; nephew, Kelly St. John; young niece Rebecca and countless friends.
Brian is survived by his mother Maureen St. John, his sister Julie St. John and his devoted wife of 40 years Karen St. John. He is also survived by four proud children Alexis St. John, Brittany (Carlos) Hamel, Zachary (Kelsey) St. John and Joshua St. John. He was also so proud of his two grandchildren Harrison Hamel and Jackson St. John. We could never forget to add his beloved dog Chloe to that list, as well.
My father's final wishes were that we have a very small family service, which will take place at a later date. I want to thank the many friends and family over the years that supported our family during this battle. My father loved you all.
Wood Family Funeral Service is entrusted with his care. For condolences, please see http://www.woodmortuary.net/.
