Valentine's Wine Walk returns, Feb. 15

The ticket pick-up line for the 2024 Valentine's Wine Walk started on South Green Street and wrapped around the corner, past Kelcy's Restaurant.

Get ready for a romantic and fun afternoon of wine, chocolate and local charm at the Tehachapi Valentine's Wine Walk, taking place on Feb. 15 from noon to 5 p.m.

This popular event, hosted by the Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce, invites wine lovers to explore Tehachapi's historic downtown shops and experience award-winning local wines, live music, handcrafted chocolates, savory snacks, activities and more.

The event will feature 18 wine tasting locations showcasing all of Tehachapi's finest local vineyards, including Dorner Family Vineyard, Tehachapi Winery, Triassic Vineyards, Tehachapi Wine and Cattle Company, Rancho de Los Viajeros, Hochland Wines and Stray Leaves Vineyard. Guests will also be able to try European wines at La Bodega de Castillo in Downtown Tehachapi.

Guests will find specially crafted chocolates by Rancho Raviri Gourmet Almonds and Chocolates in their complimentary tote bags, and along the route, they will discover chocolate treats by Truffles 'n' Toffee and delectable bites by MADD Bakery. While savoring the wine and chocolates, visitors will also enjoy live music performances by local artists, including Flashback, harpist Brenda Hunter and guitarist Matthew Maldonado, adding a festive ambiance to the day. Downtown businesses will be open, offering unique shopping opportunities, including antiques, jewelry and local art.
