The City of Tehachapi is excited to celebrate Women's History Month this March by opening nominations for the Tehachapi's Extraordinary Women Recognition program. The program aims to spotlight women in Tehachapi who inspire, lead and pave the way for others, making a significant impact on our community.

We are seeking nominations for women in Tehachapi who go above and beyond in their daily lives and work, demonstrate great character, act as leaders/change-makers and actively participate in our community. These extraordinary women will be honored with a certificate at the March 3 Tehachapi City Council Meeting, featured on the City's social media pages and invited to share their stories on our podcast, Tehachapod.

To nominate someone, please visit the link below and complete the Google Form: forms.gle/t8WrKrJc7WUdxn8s5/.

Nominees must live, work or volunteer within the Tehachapi city limits. Nominations will close on Feb. 17. Depending on the number of nominations received, up to three women will be selected for recognition.
