TehachaSleep celebrates its Grand Opening

On Jan. 24, Adrianna and Peter Garthwaite celebrated a much-anticipated Grand Opening of their new location with their friends, family and community members. Dozens of residents, including members of the Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce board members, City Council, City Hall, representatives from Kern County District 2, Senator Grove's office and Congressman Fong's office came to support the ribbon cutting of TehachaSleep.

Adriana and Peter Garthwaite, owners of the Christian Store, realized their dream of opening a mattress store that offers Tempur-Pedic mattresses and accompanying home furniture last year on Tehachapi Blvd. However, the business flourished quickly and outgrew its space. Now located in the Save Mart shopping center, TehachaSleep enjoys a full showroom for myriad mattresses, couches, tables and chairs and more. After the ribbon cutting, guests enjoyed treats by TehachaPie and giveaways.
